Age Restrictions

Hometown Cinemas enforces the MPAA Ratings System. Always check the ratings box of each film for details about a rating.

G: General Audiences – All ages admitted

PG: Parental Guidance Suggested – Some material may not be suitable for children

PG-13: Parents Strongly Cautioned – Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13

R: Restricted – Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult* guardian present throughout the entire feature.
*Adult is defined as a person 25 years or older at Hometown

Rated R: Additional Restrictions – No child under 6 shall be permitted to any R Rated showing in order to preserve the mature movie-going experience.

Disturbances

Hometown takes disturbances very seriously. Any action that disturbs any movie-goer beyond reasonable expectation determined by common customer feedback or by Hometown staff is deemed unacceptable and anyone disturbing a presentation may be subject to ejection from the theatre without a refund. Examples of disturbances include but are not limited to:

Cell phone use of any kind

Talking during the movie or trailers

Crying babies or disruptive young children

Blu-tooth ear piece light or Smart Watch lighted screen

Excessive outburst

Excessive in and out of auditorium

Standing anywhere in view of audience

No Outside Food or Drinks

No video or audio recording devices

No bags allowed in auditoriums (at discretion of management)

No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarette use inside building. Any outdoor use must be more than 15 feet from any doorway.

No Alcohol (unsles sold inside theatre)

No Admission 30 minutes after the advertised start time of a movie

No personal checks

No loitering or soliciting

No open carry of handguns or long guns (30.07 sign posted)

No costume masks or face paint

All patrons and their belongings may be subject to search before entering auditorium

Violation of any Hometown Cinemas policies may result in being asked to leave without a refund without warning.
